Let’s not forget that Rodgers had a trio of vetted pass catchers coming off a Superbowl contender the prior year: Driver/G. Jennings/J. Jones… and we drafted Jordy.

Right now we have 4 Jordy Nelsons circa 2008… Talented but unproven.

I think Love has carried the burden of young pass catchers more than the WR themselves have, given the Monday morning qb’ing.

Sure, he’s missed some throws, but he’s had a boatload hit hands and numbers to be dropped or picked.

What I will say is this: Jordan seems like he is unrattled in very high stress situational fb. He seems to be getting better almost every week over the last month.

If we can consistently see these pass catchers play to the median, and Love gets his deep ball timing down…

    Oh boy.

Rodgers definitely had a much more experienced supporting cast and if I remember correctly the oline was better too. Although, both oline and d line played great today. Sometimes it takes injuries to overrated starters (Jaire) to find the true, young talent on the team.

Jaire is not overatted. When he was healthy prior last year. He was the best man to man corner in the league, but once u get one major injury…

Loves ability to stay calm the part I’m most impressed with. Before the season started he said I know I’m good enough, i will learn from my mistakes. We can all look at the numbers and see how he’s playing football but that’s an intangible you can’t teach. I think that bodes well for GB.
