I am a celtics fan in Atlanta and my cousin is the same. I also have another cousin who is a heat fan living in Houston.
If we bought NBA League Pass premium together would we be able to watch every game for our teams?
Depends on how much you watch. I’ve used alternative sites for years, but past couple years I’ve been trying to watch like every single game, and you just don’t get consistency with the streams. Some sites go bad, lag, and they’re always behind so if you like following live discussions like game threads or Twitter it doesn’t really work.
League Pass is worth it if you watch enough, AND you aren’t blacked out in the region. You’ll also just get to catch other games here and there that are good, been watching a ton of other teams this year. Other bonuses include Full VODs available after the game, so if you miss it you can watch it blind if you want. And you get to pick the feed so you can always listen to the Celts broadcast.
The downsides are of course the blackout areas, you obviously don’t get nationally televised games, and I will say their app on smart TVs can get kinda buggy which is kinda ass for how much you pay that they can’t have a good app.
Use a VPN. Set location to turkey. Make an account and purchase league pass. Cost me like $15 USD and works perfect
It depends entirely on how much money you have at your disposal. It’s definitely more convenient than free streams. But if $50/year (splitting it with a buddy) is something you’d sweat, maybe try watching it free first.
I think I’d be splitting it with my two other cousins which helps
Absolutely worth it. I’m not going to miss out or deal with refreshing streams. Living in CT , Knicks and Nets games are blacked out so I miss out on those when Boston plays them. (I think there’s a line in CT that divides the state) It’s beautiful on YouTube TV, though.
