if you could draft a zach trade with a good return that is still realistic esp with AKME in mind, which teams/platers are involved?

imo, i’m not too fond of any trades I’ve seen thrown around thus far but am completely prepared to be let down by the trade that happens because the front office waited too long to make a move

Lavine to pistons for Ivey, Joe Harris, wiseman and a protected first is probably my favorite and most realistic options.

Think you have to give them more value than LaVine for that package.

Harris is an expiring so he’s not really negative value despite his play.

Wiseman is probably kind of neutral value. Young, still some potential, but on an expiring contract so you have to figure out if you want to actually pay to keep him.

Ivey is a really interesting player but he’s an undersized shooting guard. Decent size for a PG, though, if you think he can develop that part of his game. Personally, I’d like to see Coby get more opportunities to drive and Ivey would be a bad fit on that front.

Throw in the 1st and I’m not sure LaVine is worth Ivey and a 1st and maybe some value with Wiseman, depending on your perspective.

Harris is purely for salary purposes. It’s him or bog and I think they either value bog or can get something of value in a trade for him. Wiseman doesn’t have much if any value so it’s protected first and Ivey who they moved to bench for an all Star. I think it works

Something similar to the Kyrie trade but with the valuable role players being rerouted for more picks

Would love lots of picks too but if I’m not wrong that trade was for a FRP and 2 2nds and i would be happy if we got that many picks with just one role player for him, i don’t think the market views his value as high as kyries then rn tbh

Kyrie was also a risk to sign somewhere else & that wouldn’t be the case in a lavine trade, might even things out between the actual value of them as players

I honestly don’t believe Zach is the problem and should be traded. I think we are in another Jimmy situation. Trade the star instead of looking at the coaching staff. If we can improve anywhere coaching should be the bulls top priority. A change in coaches means a change in culture. The bulls need a coach that can utilize what they have. I don’t know who’s on the board for coaches but honestly anyone better than Billy. But Demar trades should be talked about a little more. Last year of his deal I don’t think he’ll resign with the team I think we should move him. If we can retool I think we will be better. But Zach is younger than Deebo and a proven scorer. Yes Ik Demar is a vet but I’d rather not pay him a bag I’d like to cash in now.

10000% agree about the coaching staff and would hope most other fans feel the same way. i think a lot of people want demar to be traded (both for his sake and the teams), but zach has expressed he wants to leave which is obvi going to stir up more trade talk

Zach if you can upgrade I say do it but not really a lot of upgrades available. I don’t believe this year is a rebuild year. That’s why I don’t believe it’s smart to trade Zach. He’s our best asset if we trade him we will get depth by young talent. But maybe next year but depends on how the rest of the season plays out. 🤷🏽‍♂️

The locked on bulls guys made a good pitch for a trade with Charlotte where we’d get Brandon Miller.
