Many teams are currently in their window (Bucks, Celtics, Suns, Sixers, Nuggets, etc). Who are the teams that are still 2-3 years away, but will be championship juggernauts for years to come?

If Luka ain’t contending in three years from now on whichever team he’s on Imma be shocked. That’s gonna be like six years of putting up 30-10-10 for him just to make the playoffs? Nah, Adam’s got bigger plans for him I’m sure.

I want to say Portland because of what we’re trying to do right now, but 2-3 years might not be long enough for our timeline, and also Portland usually finds a way to come up a bit short no matter what.

We’ll somehow make it back. With a 40 year old Butler and the 3rd string of G Leaguers after all out starters get injured

I’m definitely gonna throw the Kings in this conversation. LaMelo is on a tear right now, and if they can get him a few pieces I’ll put the Hornets there too.

OKC is the obvious answer. However I’m gonna throw the dark horse of Charlotte out there. Lamelo, NSJ, Miller, Williams. Team has a lot of potential.

Miami Heat has a new core developing of players in their early to mid twenties of Tyler Herro, Bam Adebayo and Jaime Jaquez Jr. Add in Haywood Highsmith and Orlando Robinson as solid role players and Nikola Jovic as a wild card (he might be a superstar in the making so who knows - he’s currently a PG that the Heat want to turn into a PF).

I want them to win with Jimmy so bad though.

Jokic is 28, Giannis is 28, 2-3 years from now whatever teams they’re on will still probably be top dogs.

Seems like it now but things change quickly. It’s typically rare for a 5+ year window unless there’s a big gamble made somewhere to reset things

My grizzlies are missing 7 of our best 9 players and chalked less than 5 point losses to the Celtics and nuggets put some respect on our future

it seems like from this year they actually have a solid rebuild going, which sucks because the previous five or so years were a complete waste and all their good young guys left
