Yeah… I can’t count the number of times I’ve had to down vote Ben Shaprio videos to stop getting alt/right and MRA videos recommended to me.

He’s shooting the ball from the arc better than Ausar Thompson, and his numbers are being put up on a winning team, so point to him on that.
But Ausar is rebounding the ball better and playing better defense. Playmaking is a toss up between them, but Triple J is doing it in fewer minutes.
There’s certainly a case to be made for Triple J.
It is, and I love it.
I mean, look at the Warriors and Clippers.
Clippers have Leonard, PG3, Westy, and Hardon, and they are under .500
Warriors have Curry, Klay, Dray, and Wiggins, and they are under .500
This league is SO deep that ‘superteams’ are struggle to stay at .500
And we can shit on the Pistons to no end (and as a Pistons fan, I have to concede it is deserving), but even that roster still has a lot of talent on it when you look a Cade, Beef Stew, Ivey, Bojan, Joe Harris, Duren, Thompson, and trouble big guys with raw talent in Wiseman and Marvin III.
That’s that bottom of the barrel in the NBA and there is no reason that team shouldn’t be able to compete in terms of talent.
I think he was selling it a bit.
I don’t mind a player letting a guy knock them down and take the bump: That’s just letting physics do its work. But LeBron started falling it seemed a bit before the contact even got there.
My issue here is how late the call was. The Lakers had already brought the ball up and were setting a play. Either call it in the moment, or don’t call it at all (unless of course there is a challenge).
They are certainly struggling, but this looks like an overreaction, clickbait title.
It’s a long season. The Warriors are two games under .500, and and Wiggins plays himself back into shape and Klay gets his stroke back, this team could be as good or better than they were in 2022.
Keep in mind, Klay started off streaky that season as well, and it was later in that season the Wiggins earned more respect around the league.
With Paul reinforcing the bench, this team has the pieces and talent to contend.
Are they my pick to take it all? No. But cooked? Hardly.
How do you up hold that and keep you job?
They gotta build that point differential for the Cup ;-)
I seem to recall Anthony Davis 4-1 against Joker back in 2020.
You know… during the conference finals.
But hey… why include that?
I’m not crazy about Troy Weaver, but this roster has talent, and the Pistons have their draft picks.
But what needs to be address is the RIDICULOUS contract that Monty Williams got.
I mean… I don’t think any coach should be fired 17 games into a new deal, but if it was going to happen, this is the time.
But that contract is so outlandish that ownership is going to HAVE to sit on it for two years at least.
I’d frankly rather have Doc Rivers coaching this team.
Thank god there is another team shitting the bed so that I don’t have to hear about how god awful the Pistons are… ;-)
I read ‘his’ as Trae’s, and it just sounded totally savage to block Trae’s shot and have it land in Trae’s son’s lap.
But then it was far less savage because it was Horford’s kid.
Harden was a desperation move.
Like the Lakers bringing in Westbrook… everybody except LeBron knew that made the team worse off from the start.
Clippers are just swinging for the fences now.
I think the pressure is on Boston.
Having lost Harden, the Sixers kind of have an excuse.
But Boston has brought in the Unicorn and Jrue… got the best starting five in the league.
They need to step up to that next level and take it all home.
Luka? He’s going to have Kyrie to blame for any shortcomings.
Booker? KD is going to be taking the lead, so if they fail, it will go on KD.
Shai doesn’t have any real playoff experience with this roster.
So I see Tatum as the guy with the most pressure.
He really is pulling away as the clear cut favorite for ROY.
This is a woeful start, but the team is not entirely healthy, the Pistons have a new coach, and the core is young.
Cade, Ivery, Duren, Thompson, and Beef Stew are a strong young core, and with Joe Harris and Bojan providing guys who spread the floor, this team has a lot of potential.
The biggest weak link is with ball handing. Outside of Ivey, none of these guys are play makers, and Hayes is not working.
This is the kind of young core that teams need to be patient with. You blow them up now, we’ll just watch these guys develop and thrive elsewhere.
Like what happened with Kris Middleton.
People need to take the long view in situations like this.
The biggest failing right now is not shoring up the point guard position and getting a couple playmakers to run the point when Ivey isn’t on.
Other teams have multiple guys who can make players at different positions, but this team doesn’t have playmakers at other positions.
Imma ride out the season and see if Monty could actually do something with them.
If not, I’m firing the coach.
Ivey, Duren, Cade, and Beef Stew are a great young core, but the Pistons need a good back-up point guard.
They need to move on from Killian.
The one on Tatum seemed lame last night.
His momentum was carrying him in a direction, and he was waiting to swing back to land straight down.
Didn’t seem excessive. But I guess that’s subjective.
My dark horse pick: The Pistons.
I think part of it is because he embraces and work on the premise that his views are polarizing, where as Andrews is framed more as the ‘objective’ journalist.
But you are 100% right.
