This is something I haven’t seen mentioned or discussed much among all the AG, OL, and Goff thoughts!

There was probably close to 10 offensive plays where they started to line up and all looked completely confused as to what they were doing or where to do be. One time even off a timeout! Regardless of who’s at fault for these - and I don’t know if we’ll ever really know unless Goff or Ben Johnson comes out and says it was me - it’s a big concern and I think indicative of everything else that went down yesterday on the offense.

I don’t know where to find the full game clips but it should be easy enough to dig those out.

Campbell mentioned they put too much in the playbook on a short week. Said guys were running wrong routes and not prepared.

      I missed that!

They do seem to have an overly complex playbook just from comments here and there from players. Laporta’s mentioned it. DPJ was barely in there and it’s already been two plus weeks. Other things too, I think Jamo’s learning issues have been heavily related to this. You see teams trade for players and they hop right in on other teams.

Ben Johnson is frustrating at times, so often we do the over complicated thing instead of just executing the obvious thing better

At least they hit Jamo in stride

Jamo streaking across the middle worked on both his targets. We’ve been calling for it for weeks now

Why would they put the ball in the hands of their fastest player mid field? /s

Still don’t know why we’re not putting him pre snap motion more often. Would make the defense react and can get some misdirection off that.
