Remember a few years ago about the topic of Joe Flacco being elite? I feel like Dak is now the new QB to ask this same question. If not Dak, then who?

(For the record, my answer is no to both)

I think people desperately want Dak to be better than he is and he just keeps letting everyone down 🤷🏻‍♀️ I don’t think he’s bad - I didn’t think Flacco was bad. But what’s wrong with just being average? Average is a shit ton better than a lot of other quarterbacks.

Probably unpopular opinion but I think Hurts is the new Flacco except he’s more popular and likable. They’re like elite QB managers imo. They work well in their system, gaining yards here and there, supported by a solid defense. Then when called upon, they nail the critical deep balls they need to hit. But if you need them to carry the game for you, completely on their arm, they’re not your best bets.

Do we remember the Cowboys of the last few years? They make the playoffs then choke. They also play tougher teams down the stretch.

I mean, his numbers are pretty great this year - better even than CJ

The only thing I have with the numbers is that they’re a bit inflated. They absolutely dominated bad teams/last 3 games. Granted, I think the commanders are an okay team that just traded away both their pass rushers.
