I don’t think Houston takes Dell without Stroud’s input. Based on history, Houston likes bigger receivers, but that’s also ignoring not knowing what the new coaching staff likes.

Thanks for the TLDR
Yes, but we’ve also seen what running the ball more leads to behind a terrible run blocking OLine. We need to run the ball more, but we can’t…
I’m glad I’m not the only one thinking this. WR3 sounds harsh, but I can agree with your reasoning.
I don’t know about anomalies. Maybe yesterday was the anomaly. But their DLine was definitely superior to our OLine in every aspect yesterday.
I’m going to defend Stroud on those big sacks on the last drive. I don’t think those were rookie sacks. Stroud got away from the first defender, but Tunsil’s man came in running to take him out. That was poor blocking. The big sack that led to the missed field goal was a quickly collapsing pocket and another time Tunsil got beat leading to Stroud being grabbed by the collar which imo should have been a penalty. That slowed him down enough to then be finished off by another defender. There wasn’t much else to do unless he threw the ball away after a second if the 1st read wasn’t open.
These still available? I’m considering if you haven’t let them go yet
He’s come around last couple of games. Singletary has partly popped off because Schultz has made some great blocks/held his blocks
Who is snake dick? Lol I can only think of Owen Daniels as our last good TE
Probably unpopular opinion but I think Hurts is the new Flacco except he’s more popular and likable. They’re like elite QB managers imo. They work well in their system, gaining yards here and there, supported by a solid defense. Then when called upon, they nail the critical deep balls they need to hit. But if you need them to carry the game for you, completely on their arm, they’re not your best bets.
The only thing I have with the numbers is that they’re a bit inflated. They absolutely dominated bad teams/last 3 games. Granted, I think the commanders are an okay team that just traded away both their pass rushers.
Not really related, but it’s crazy how 3 mil typed out puts into perspective how much money that is. Man, that’s A LOT of money and that’s like NFL veteran cheap…I think
I don’t disagree with you lol tackling is awful. It’s more so from certain players than others. I didn’t really rewatch to see who was missing tackles, but it was noticeable how much Pitre can’t finish a play. I think if he had made 2 or 3 of the plays he should have, we may have a bit different of a memory. On top of that, Connor was making it real tough.
I’m mostly mentioning the one to Collins to bring up why he threw it. It’s almost like CJ is over-distributing, trying too hard to get everyone involved, especially since our “WR1” hasn’t been shining as much lately. For the Tank interception, it’s easy to say Schultz was open, and just going off of what you’re saying, a choice route would take time to deliver and be a higher risk of miscommunication. Maybe there was film on how Stroud handles the pressure, and they saw their moment, but he’s been great against pressure the majority of the season. This is a good opportunity to see how Stroud will adjust to what defenses are finding.
So frustrating. He was supposed to be the slot receiver we needed but the dude maxed out agility and with no points into catching.
I think Noah Brown would have taken touches away from Collins, but I don’t necessarily think it’s a bad thing.
Probably an unpopular opinion because we all like Collins, but Brown probably gets more wide open if he was in the game. Upon rewatching, not sure if it’s play design but a lot Collins’ catches or targets were tight windows or fairly contested. I think the first int was meant to be high and a contested catch for Collins. Don’t think we’re in the same situation with Brown. Brown might also do a bit better at finding holes, but again, not sure if by design.
I’d love to see him come back to coach like Keenum. I think he’d be a massive resource for our young rushers. I think if there’s any possibility he comes back, it’s to the Texans because of the history and it would be next season so he can get his conditioning up.
I’ve always been curious about tailgating. Always though ppl just pulled up their own trucks and stuff
For 1, the people we needed to block hit the blocks. Even our favorite guy Schultz was doing a damn good job.
On another note, after watching replays, I think it may have been schemed better to give Singletary a chance to view his options before having to hit a hole. There were actually well blocked runs and then there were also plays where people were in the backfield but Singletary was able to bounce it to the outside or cut it the other way.
Our run blocking wasn’t that much better so I think the extra factor is Either scheme and/or Singletary was really seeing the holes. Bengals D isn’t good at run D but neither were the Panthers.
I’m with you on this. I see it here and there but not very often. I don’t think it’ll become popularized because you have to be pretty dumb to use this seriously. I’m hoping most of us are in the same thought process, but it’s also the internet so you putting this up probably has more people trolling you now than anything.
