Considering LeBron is in his last 3-4 seasons now, his retirement is becoming more and more a reality (as much as I wish it wasn’t). So I am curious if y’all think he’ll retire in LA (or wherever else he goes, depending on Bronny/Bryce), or do you think he’ll sign a commemorative 1-day contract in Cleveland and retire same day, similar to KG or Paul Pierce?

If he continues at this rate, I dont actually think he’ll retire in 4 years believe it or not. If the Lakers can draft Bronny, Bryce, and Zhuri, I think he would stay with us.

There was an interview with Dennis Schroder last year (in German) and he revealed that Bron would like to play till 45.

Which is crazy… imagine if we had 6 more years of Bron when he’s already the oldest player in the league, damn.

He could change his mind but that’s the closest thing we’ve heard to a concrete answer.

I think he gets to 25 seasons. He’ll have almost every major record in terms of all NBA, all star, etc. or be second, like all time assists. He knows the longevity argument will be unassailable even if he cant get to 5 or 6 rings.

He already has the All-NBA and All-Stars (pending this year he will be the first 20x all-star in league history)

Lakers and Cleveland are probably the only teams willing to throw him a max deal. I like to think Lebron really likes it in LA so he would probably want to stay. Whether he will be worth a max contract is another discussion. IMO I don’t think he is. I would prefer a 1+1 deal.

Almost surely he wants to stay in LA. I think he’ll try to get his son on the team. I also don’t think he has as much time as some think he does and will be done in a couple of years.

He also wants to own the Vegas expansion team, so that may force him to retire since I think as an active player, you can’t own a team yet and the expansion teams are just a few years into existence. He might have a grand scheme where he owns the Vegas team and draft his kids there.

TBH Lebron is on a whole other level of superstardom than KG or Paul Pirece. He’s not signing some ceremonial one day contract unless its to play with one of his kids.

If Bronny is cleared to play in the NBA he will definitely drop in the draft from where he was projected before, Lakers can draft him and keep Bron in LA

I feel like LeBrons camp will go wherever they want. He won’t go quietly, the entire world will know Lebron James is Retiring — if he stays with the lakers the fucking ticket prices are gonna 650 for nosebleeds. I’m calling it now haha
