We will forever be a fanbase scared of losing to anyone after the Russ years until we have a full season in playoff contention.

AD is good as a guy who can switch between 4 and 5, not solely play one spot. Against the Bucks, AD should play at the 4 to cover Giannis. Against the Nuggets, AD should play the 5 (at least on defense) to cover Jokic. In 2019-2020, we had enough size off the bench so AD could switch like this. Since then, the roster hasn’t had enough backup bigs and wings. This year’s team is the closest to correcting this error, but not quite there yet.
Long term I bet they move away from Xbox consoles entirely or just have a cheaper “streaming” box console in the future.
Because of current economic conditions, it isn’t that easy for established auto makers to enter the EV market. The risks and decisions Tesla can make are because they are solely an EV company (and started 10-15 years ago).
If AD is able to focus on Embiid, we can win. If the rest of our defense slacks and AD tries to help, we’ll lose.
The league got whatever they wanted in the player union contract, and the players did nothing about the refs. I can’t see these issues stopping anytime soon.
Tesla’s advantage is from being the first company to make EVs that are reasonable enough for people to replace gas cars with. The charging infra also helps a lot. Other car makes have almost caught up in terms of actual EV quality but their businesses aren’t ready to ramp up on EVs. Also, for most people (at least in the US), EVs aren’t ready (lack of charging and/or battery capacity, plus higher costs).
Tesla can lose their advantage if they don’t increase car quality. They’ve also suffered due to economic issues, but instead of slowing down EV production like traditional car makes can do, Tesla has had to cut prices. Their advantage will remain at least in the near future even without any drastic changes.
West wasn’t as good back then. Laker team was also more balanced, but there were several more junk teams in the west back then. Now everyone is trying to compete even if they don’t have much of a chance. Lakers just need to get better.
Almost surely he wants to stay in LA. I think he’ll try to get his son on the team. I also don’t think he has as much time as some think he does and will be done in a couple of years.
Lakers are okay but not top tier contenders yet. They could get hot in the playoffs but if the intention is to get a top 3 seed, roster tweaks are needed
Prince did well early on in the season. He’s just in a slump. Happens with role players.

Lakers winning and AD doing great on TNT? Want to hear what Chuck will say, he usually gives props whenever someone deserves it

Teams take Utah seriously now, they were never that good. OKC is in a similar situation but they have more good players.

Much better. Even if it still said Heat Culture, the “Culture” should’ve been smaller.
Lakers need another hefty center so AD can play as a Chris Bosh type center who mostly is a PF in practice but plays center against small lineups or covers skilled bigs like Jokic while the rest of the defense is sizable enough to handle the other players.
Caruso is good as long as we don’t lose too much. He’s a great defender and a better l handler off the bench than Reaves (who should still be kept).
Since his injury in the 2021 playoffs, AD hasn’t been as good at scoring from beyond the paint as he used to.
