If you hadn’t heard, there was a rumor LaFleur texted Love to scrap the first play of the game and Love said “Nah keep it.” If this rumor is true, does it give anyone else hope that Love found his spot on the team as a leader? He’s telling the coach to keep a play that coach doesn’t want, and it’s paying off.

Personally, I’m pumped, because it show Love maturing and learning to call an offense.

What are your thoughts?

Edit: it has come to my attention it was not a rumor, rather confirmed they did that. My apologies, I got caught up in Thanksgiving crazies yesterday.

I think it’s cool, but qb and coach hashing out ideas and giving their input to each other is so common that it’s nothing more than a cool tidbit. Doesn’t mean he’s not a great leader or that he is. Just that he’s a qb who has a coach willing to listen to input

It not only means that Love is becoming a leader, but that there’s a trust bond developing between them, and that is a crucial part of what helped the rise of Rodgers.
