There is literally nothing about the dude physically that says “NBA MVP” and “NBA champion and finals MVP” but yet here we are.
Note: don’t take this as a criticism, it’s high praise. You can look at Giannis and Embiid and say “that guy is going to be dominant in the NBA” but Jokic is just surprising in his ability.
Barry is doing such an amazing job, I think the Panthers should give him a shot at HC.
Your teams have checkbooks?
“not advocating for that”
There’s no way for a player to “win” that situation. Best off just staying away and asking for team security to handle it if it’s truly out of bounds. I have no doubt that what was said would have warranted a beating if said to his face on the street (not advocating for that, just pointing out the protection fans have by being in a stadium vs saying it to a dude on the street).
He’s definitely on his way. We saw some good things from Jones and Pickett until they badly regressed (not to mention Trubisky from a few years earlier). I think you are also underrating Trevor Lawrence, and as you note Purdy is a total anomaly.
What we’ve seen from Love the last month is encouraging and is showing him to be growing into the role of legit starter. What we need to really see him take the full reins is that against some bad teams coming up (Giants, Titans, Panthers, Bears) for him to control games from start to finish, to make sure there isn’t even a chance a potentially botched onside kick attempt gives the other team a chance to tie the game, like we saw against the Lions. Basically, that’s forgivable against a team like this year’s Lions but we have to slam the door offensively against these bad teams coming up. To me, if he can do that, and then show that he can keep it there into next season, then he’s solidified his status as the Packers next long term QB.
What does this have to do with Gary?
I would be happy to see any player in the NBA win a title if they are in the Bucks
No, go flying into the Magic player and hurt both of them.
It not only means that Love is becoming a leader, but that there’s a trust bond developing between them, and that is a crucial part of what helped the rise of Rodgers.
I get the feeling Rhyan isn’t built up enough to handle all the snaps and they are working toward that or saving his legs for late in the season (post Chiefs when we get a run of weaker teams).
Rodgers is an absolute master of choosing the right arm slot, and Love has clearly learned from him and will get better and better at it.
I don’t get how leagues have CBAs with officials that require them to keep clearly incompetent officials. MLB has Angel Hernandez, Foster in the NBA, I would guess the NHL has one as well, I just don’t follow closely enough. NFL has actually fired people but has a whole different issue with officiating at large.
The 2023 Jordan Love coming out party.
I think the team that can score more points will come out on top.
Just take care of our man J’rue out there.
Krolls. Eat there. Burgers, cheese curds, onion rings. Some insist on the original east side location, other say west (by the stadium) is just the same.
So in conclusion, no we cannot all agree, and in fact the vast majority disagree.
Good call
