Basically the title. We always hear about how great Porsche, Honda, etc. are, but what are some brands that don’t get enough love?
Dacia, cheap and fairly reliable
Mazda
People still primarily go for Toyota and Honda when it comes to JDM. Mazda on the other hand is still under appreciated and one of the most reliable car brands out there.
Honda
AMC Gremlin. 😆
Lincoln. Those massage seats & comfortable rides are pretty amazing.
I sat in an Expedition a few years back with massage seats and was very unimpressed for how much more you pay for them. Also the ventilated portion made me feel like I’d pissed myself.
Suzuki. Jimny, Swift, Grand Vitara, Maruti, etc
Dacia. Cheapest reliable shitbox but does its basic job
Anything and everything GM
Volvo. Amazing cars, I had no idea until I first rode in one and I bought one within two weeks.
I’d echo others who’ve said Genesis. Great cars with amazing style, but they’re let down by dealer issues that lessen the buying and ownership experience vs the European and Japanese competition
Porsche
I think Mazda does a bang-up job on most of their models but sales are always lower than their key competitors.
15-20 years ago, Hyundais were absolute jokes. I would never own one.
Nowadays they are amazing. Their technology is top-tier and quality has gone way up. I would totally buy one and be very excited about it.
Nissan there jdm still and r34 is gorilla so is g35 but they sleep on them. 350s aren’t bad.
Aston Martin and Maserati are almost always afterthoughts when it comes to luxury or sporting vehicles.
