I’m gonna start off with a really silly one, but in age of empires 2 when you move a nut they sometimes moonwalk backwards a significantly distance before turning to normal. For some reason this always cracks me up

In Castlevania 4, if you use Up / Down on the D-Pad to use Stairs (instead of Right / Left once you’re on them) and at the same time hold the opposite Direction of whichever one said Stairs go, Simon will turn around but still walk the correct way, meaning he ends up moonwalking on them.

So I was 11 years old, replaying Majora’s Mask on my N64. Just vibing. Having a good time. Then, a power surge. Game goes off

Turn N64 back on. My files are gone. Rip. Undeterred however, I start a new game. Cutscene plays out as normal. No problem. Cutscene ends. Link falls to his knees, dead. Game over. Game fades in and out, and boom, im back on my feet like normal. One issue though; my Hearts werent there. At all. I fall off the tree-stump jumping tutorial and I die upon falling the bare minimum height to take damage. Then fade to black, fade back in, back at the start of the room (if you ever wondered what happens if you die prior to clock town). So I just had 0/0 health at all times and even the slightest amount of damage taken would remind the game I had no health and I’d die

But that wasnt the funniest part. The funniest part was hands down my inventory. Every single item slot was an Ocarina of Time. If I ever got an item, it would take its spot in the inventory but instead of empty spots, every slot was an Ocarina. So apparently in this glitched reality, Skull kid stole one Ocarina of time but I had 24 spares lying around. And yes, I could put an ocarina into each separate slot

Even better. Every single mask item slot ALSO had the same item in every single slot. Wanna guess what it was? If you guessed also Ocarinas of Time, you’d be correct. Link was carrying 48 spare time altering Ocarinas apparently. Because of this, I got passed the Happy Mask Salesman instantly cause I had an Ocarina on me already.

However, when I saved the game, and played the game again, my old saves were back and the glitched file was gone. I know this is the most “I have no proof but dude trust me” glitches ever and I have no idea how a power surge made the game bug like this but it was HILLARIOUS

The javelin glitch and care package glitch in MW2 (original game)

Imagine making yourself a walking bomb with danger close. Anytime you were killed, the javelin would detonate, killing everyone around you when you died.

Accidentally wrong-warped in Elden Ring to mimic tear boss. Really by accident - game crashed and I loaded there.
