I mean right now as far as things I think he genuinely needs to improve upon, and aren’t things that will just come with age naturally, is decision making on his drives, when to pass and went to maintain his dribble/ not dribble into traffic in the first place, and shot selection. That’s pretty much it.
Everything else I’ve seen evidence that if there’s a struggle involved in it, it’s either down to the Spurs current way in which they’re using him with very little structure, or simply because he’s 19 and barely into his first season
His jump shot has great form so I’m not too worried about his shooting as a whole, he already is grabbing nine rebounds of game, despite the fact that he very rarely even attempts to box out, both because of strength issues, but also because he’s very rarely in the paint and is often flying across from the perimeter to try to get boards, for every bad pass he makes. There’s usually at least two to three good ones, even if they don’t always lead to assists.
He’s frankly having an amazing season and people’s unrealistic expectations, combined with Chet. Having such an efficient year on a very good thunder team, are causing people to not fully appreciate how good he has been to start the year
