Valve employee u/jeffhill even said himself that “Account Level is a poor metric of how old is the account”, and that’s why they added Total Games Counter to profiles. Why would they remove it?
Remember when they said “Smurfs are not welcome in Dota 2?” and after an initial banwave nothing happened?
I wish Valve would stay consistent on their promises and stop doing “one-time things” that don’t last more than a month.
It’s either this or returning/washed up players. I have noticed a significant decrease in match quality in SEA Divine bracket since TI. I take the time to check out their profiles and usually I notice their last games were a few months ago at low Immortal and since returning they’re going down in MMR and just constantly feeding.
