This team has played like trash for the last week and a half. They consistently play down to their opponents.

This team does not perform well when ranked 1st in the NBA and this dates back to last year. When the team had a clear path to home court they fell apart towards the end of the year letting the Bucks take 1st and that struggle continued into every series in the playoffs.

Mazzula has no sense of the game, which is why he struggles when to call timeouts, but that’s only a symptom.

There is no offensive scheme to this team, which leads to an extremely stale offense that has largely been exposed in the last few games. There probably isn’t a single coach in the NBA doing less with this much talent.

The team is struggling in almost every aspect, rebounds, free throws, leaving wide-open 3s, and closing out games.

Joe thinks he is coaching a street game and just lets the team play. They don’t have the experience to do that despite having gone deep in the playoffs a number of times. I was against him being made coach when he had the interim title and if this team is able to win a championship like last year it would have been in spite of him.

Actually you got it wrong. These sentiments aren’t reactionary to one or 2 games. I’ve been pointing out some of these questionable coaching decisions since last year, which is a big reason we lost the Miami Heat series. Alot of you want to make excuses for an unproven coach who is riding the coattails of arguably the most talented roster in the league. Then point the finger at JB for missing shots when he’s being incentivised to shoot the 3 by the head coach. I just saw consecutive defensive possessions at the end of the Orlando game where we trapped the ball handler on high pick rolls which lead to someone being wide open instead of switching, calling a timeout, making an adjustment… something. These things may seem trivial or minute during the regular season but they will stick out like a sore thumb in the playoffs

If you point this out during a win, you’re a nitpicker. If you point it out during a loss, you’re just being negative due to a loss.

Jaylen Brown has no business shooting 8 3s a night on a night that he isn’t hot. He should be at about 4-5 3s a night on average, assuming quality looks rather than his go to pull up jumper. Brown once again had more turnovers than assists on awful shooting.

Tatum was struggling to shoot the 3 and so he kept looking for ways to help the team and was getting to the line. For Jaylen, I’m not even sure getting to the line is worth it because he struggles from the line so much.
