I think EB and Sam have a decent rapport and making Sam learn another new system might be detrimental. Ben Johnson could be the next Mcvay/Kyle Shan so missing on him would hurt, and BB is him but I question his motivation to bring a new team from the gutter at this point in his career.

Gun to my head I choose Ben Johnson cuz I do think he’s the next up and coming young coach and we’ve missed on too many of those. I wish we gave the team to EB I really thought Ron was gone after yesterday; we need to see what EB can do with the team in his hands imo. BB seems like a wildcard but the rumors are certainly there rn. Those seem like the most likely 3 to me though

    Without Tom Brady Bill Belicheck is Ron Riveria.

    Actually worse as RR is right above .500 and BB is under .500 without Brady.

    Both are real old, defensive coaches, who want full control, but aren’t actually good at drafting.

    The new coach needs to be Ben Johnson or Bobby Slowik.

      BB also has 2 rings as a DC for the giants. He’s Seinfeld a step above Ron I just don’t wanna give him control over the whole team which he’ll want

    Of the names who provided it’s hard to say. I don’t think BB is a given to be available. Ben Johnson will be highly sought after and he’d have better options than here, and given some of the rumors on EB who knows? Truthfully if Harris is really going to tank he might as well just keep Ron around lol

      Ron is the tank commander. He also fought through absolute lows of this team while battling cancer we’re gonna keep him till his contract expires out of respect I think

        If they’re in tank mode then theoretically the next HC if Ron is fired would be a lame duck coach. Why waste the money on a new contract just keep Ron and keep tanking

    BJ > EB > BB

    Johnson’s offense has looked great. The fire Dan Campbell brought would hopefully rub off.

    EB because I do think it would help to keep the continuity of scheme for Sam. I think people are a little too sour on him, like we didn’t know KC was a pass happy team when we got EB?

    BB needs to join Ron and JDR in the old folks home.
