Weak updates that majority do not find appealing, 50% less players than during it’s peak, longer queue times because of it, Behaviour Score issues, more smurfs then ever because of it. Game is not dead but slowly heads that way, in my opinion this diretide update does not attract new players because it adds even more complexity, and current players find it artificial.

Player base decreasing and it’s far cry from it’s peak, game development is in stalemate and overall patches feel rushed and well though-through. Long are the days of pre-7.** patches, when the game felt balanced and you could actually have viable 80 hero pool.

It’s not dead. But it consistently lose more players than gain new ones.

Because a lot of gamers are children or manchildren and can’t accept that others might be enjoying a game that they are not. And calling a game “dead” somehow justifies their reason to not play it.
