I like Gaunter O Dimm from Witcher 3 . Powerful, clever, manipulative and scary makes him most sinister villain

Far Cry has some notorious villains. Far Cry 5 didn’t necessarily hit on a lot besides what they knew they already did well. But, Joseph Seed, I tell ya. I was actually terrified of this man. This was the first villain since maybe 2? I was terrified of. His mannerisms, being able to grow a cult, all of it felt too real which made it terrifying to me.

Disco Elysium, and the inescapable crushing weight of neo-liberal worship of capital and human fallibility.

    Radiance from Hollow Knight.

Bro created an unstoppable plague just for the funnies. There is actually 0 reason for them to do that.

Pre-amnesiac Dark Urge, Baldur’s Gate 3. Their list of atrocities is…something else. Probably one of the most fucked up people in the setting itself.

Ah, the eternal debate over the most sinister villain in gaming! It’s a quest worthy of any intrepid gamer. Now, in my humble nerdy opinion, I’d have to give the coveted title of the most sinister gaming villain to Sephiroth from Final Fantasy VII.

Oh, Sephiroth, the brooding, silver-haired bishonen with a tragic past, a wickedly long katana, and a thirst for god-like power. He’s got that whole tragic-hero-gone-rogue thing going on, and his theme music alone is enough to send shivers down your spine. His dark and mysterious aura, combined with his ruthlessness and complexity, make him a formidable and utterly sinister antagonist. Plus, his iconic one-winged angel form is the stuff of gaming legends.

    Kefka - FFVI

Not only is he a mentally unstable misanthropic nihilist but literally destroys the world mid-way through the game in order to become its god. By the time you fight him in his tower built from the rubble of a destroyed world he has turned into a twisted angelic being.

Sepiroth has nothing against this guy. Frankly no other video game villain I have ever encountered is remotely as epic.

I’ll go with Dante’s inferno. The whole thing. But especially the temptresses and in baptized babies. Also the main character. He deserved how he got there if I’m remembering my 20 year old game right.

The Joker from Batman Arkham series. Also the fictional character I hate the most. The Batman who laughs is much scarier
