    I’m ready for Hendon Hooker next year, 2 years tops. All the respect for Goff he’s been more than we asked for, and will be good on another team. But Hooker is our future, he has more potential and can run outside the pocket

      Plenty of college greats “have potential” but that doesn’t always mean they will be good in the pros. I like hooker, but we haven’t seen him play. Couldn’t imagine what this group would be like if we let Goff go and hooker turned out to be not it. He’s also only 3 years younger than Goff.

        Age is just a number in today’s NFL. He can play for 20 years, it’s about athletic ability and potential to elevate the offense to another level
