And the screen looks fantastic. Some people here had me nervous and if you’ve been on the thread you’d think it was the end of the world and you’d have to instant RMA your device due to dead pixels.
Just wanted to add a positive note. My LE arrives pristine with no issues whatsoever.

I’m glad that there are people getting a LE with no dead pixels. Atleast it means not every single one has the issue.
Unfortunately, I have atleast 1 dead pixel I found in the white and green screen test and I just got my LE today :(
How’s the d-pad? People with LE order have also been reporting mushiness with them.
LE here. Dpad is so much nicer than my original 512GB LCD. Has a nice click to it and spring back. Also no dead or stuck pixels.
If anything my D-Pad is pretty firm
Great! Also, what’s your opinion on the LE shell being thinner? I heard it was one of the rumors going around, but is it more of a baseless claim?
Man I don’t even know how someone would get around to measuring the thinness of the case. Even if it was:

the dead pixel thing… I’d honestly wait till like… 4 or 5 pixels die before sending a RMA request but to each their own I’d just be happy its functional for games still!

Boe screens on one plus phones are known to implode after a while. You are not in the clear yet xD
I have two dead subpixels on mine, but Valve is super cool and I already initiated a return and purchased a 512GB model. I kind of miss the black body and want to avoid the BOE screen lottery altogether.

Samsung makes the best OLED screen in the world, kind of baffling that they explicitly went with BOE for their most expensive Steam Deck.
Did a dead pixel check on mine last night, no dead pixels, and I was REALLY looking for them. But my A and B button are sticking
I’ll chime in here as well, zero screen issues with my LE
Hopefully my replacement will be the same, I got unlucky with my LE today and had a dead pixel :(
