He is making throws across his body, on the run, across the field and hitting guys right on the money. He looks really good today

He’s good, but is it possible he just got used to the NCAA as this is his 5th year?

Will that translate into the NFL? If so, sign me up.

I’m hardly a scout, but he passes the eye test for me. Really good anticipation on his throws, leading guys really well. Oregon has the most yards after the catch of any team in college and his throws are a big part.

He can run a little, had a nice 15 yard TD today on a design run. Though he runs, he looks to pass first. Leads the NCAA in completion percentage and yards currently I believe. Today what stood out was throwing on the run. Guy would go unblocked and he would roll out and throw absolute dimes, including across his body

That’s valid, just want to make sure that he’s not making these throws because he’s “comfortable”. I want to see his skills be translated into the NFL.

I don’t trust this org with any rookie QB. We had 1 good one, and that was Fran, and he was only good because he essentially went against what qbs in the 60s/70s were supposed to do. Put him anywhere past 1980 and he would have been garbage.

They take a rookie in the 1st round and it will be a waste of a pick, every time.

Honestly he’s a guy I would love but he might be gone when we pick
