Talent beats unselfishness 10/10 times
Jak isn’t the guy for this team.
Scottie/Pascal have zero spacing to operate with.
it’s confusing that this FO would trade for a center with such an offensive deficiency when we have historically benefited from decent/good offensive centers(Gasol, JV, Ibaka)
Lost to a better team, it is what it is.
Man, Dick gets it off faster than me
Scottie Barnes is him. Dude has been our best player every game since preseason and continues to show up on both ends of the floor. He’s still got a lot of room for growth, but if he keeps this up hopefully the FO hands him the keys at the deadline.
Scottie took a step forward. Looks like a legit Allstar.
Dick is legit. Give that man more minutes.
Me: This was a promising game for our rookies!
Raptors Reddit: DEATH! DEATH UPON PASCAL! AND SIAKAM TOO! A CURSE UNTO THEE!
People over-react, but you can’t deny that it’s frustrating that he is indeed our best player. It’s a guy who can’t make FTs in clutch time, makes a lot of mistakes on offense and today on defense. He wasn’t in the gameplan today a lot, but Sixers and Nurse come to town, i want to see him take this game personal, not just another gameday, especially after yesterday.
Said this yesterday and got downvoted. Pascal looks like he’s completely disinterested. He’s missed assignments all game , he got backdoor cut a bunch in the 4th quarter, fumbled easy passes , lethargically missed some easy shots , wasn’t aggressive on either end of the court, and made very stupid fouls.
We really need to keep an eye on him over this next stretch.
Expected that it would be tough without og, especially on a back to back and with how tough yesterday’s game was. extremely disappointed with pascals play though, I really hope he picks things up as the season goes on
I think we should all agree now that we should be rebuilding this team around Scottie, there is nothing left to do with this squad.
Honestly it’s the 3rd game of the season so it’s not the end of the world. Considering how we played, it should have been a blowout.
Scottie and OG have taken it up a level this year so far.
Pascal hasn’t even scored 20 points this season- which is unusual for him. I don’t really understand what the fit is or what the plan for him is.
Jak looks off- and an offensive liability. Hasn’t been able to finish pretty easy plays. Has had a lot of dumb turnovers compared to when the ball is in his hands.
Gary is serviceable and our best scorer, and can see he’s really trying to improve defensively. Honestly don’t see many pure shooters as good at D as Gary.
Gradey looks great for a rookie in his 3rd NBA game. He was labelled a high floor guy but I think he has a higher ceiling than projected.
Precious and Chris look the same. Chris is decent. Precious is totally inconsistent.
Malachi is completely unplayable.
Unfortunate outcome but Scottie/Gradey success heals all wounds.
Least we should get a win next game.
