I just got onto overwatch tonight to play a couple games in quick play and have fun. At first I picked damage. And to be honest, I wasn’t doing too good. But my other damaged was doing alright and decided they wanted the character I was playing. This was on control Lijang tower. And we both ended up doing really well after they started playing that character and it was down to last point. Then they decided to switch to widow and spam the voice line “you’re a joke” the entire time. And then proceed to say “how do we lose that” the rest of the team just was like “look at who you’re playing, on this map too.” I’ve seen people play widow well on that map too. But was that really fun for them to do?

I decided to switch to support because I know they do a lot right now, basically the game changing role. So the game decided to queue me with 4 other people on blizzard world, that insisted on sucking on the enemies spawn doors literally the entire game. Is it really fun for people to just walk into the enemies team and get exploded? Or are they just having fun ruining the experience for anyone who actually was trying to play the game?

I would have played competitive, but like I said I had just got on for the night to play for some fun. And that’s what quick play is supposed to be for. And also, competitive is complete garbage right now. With the cards system and everyone throwing games and what not, it’s almost never a good experience. I had one day this week I had fun in competitive and after that I was completely shit on. I know I’m low elo for a reason, but the game being the way it is really doesn’t make people want to get better. And I’m so ready to see what changes in season 9.
