the Spurs are way more talented than the Wizards but just as bad… Why they dont get the smoke? Everybody talking about Poole, but whats the excuse over there? Wizards are in rebuild mode, yet Spurs suppose to be in Winning mode according to them. But I dont see the smoke distributed equally or anywhere close. They should be dominating, but they Wizards like bad. Blowing major leads and all with way more talented cast than the Wizards.
Spurs are experimenting at an unprecedented level. They’re sacrificing wins and efficiency for development. They also have very talented players.

The Spurs ran into a generational prospect after their first year of outright tanking, who’s saying they’re in “winning mode” now? Sure they’ve got some young talent but there’s a lot of redundancy in the roles they fill.
Spurs were tenth in the west. They jumped the draft. They not full rebuild like the Wizards are.
Because people worship a 7’3" French guy in Texas. Now, if that 6 out of 11 chance for the Wizards getting the Number 1 pick in the draft at one point during the lottery did turn out to be, it would be a completely different story. And honestly, we probably would’ve won 2 or 3 more games by now 😅
We only started to rebuild. It’s not even a true rebuild yet until we trade Poole and Kuz. Even the Spurs are showing that they are still learning to play the right way under Pop. I have no idea what the Pistons are doing.
