Because people worship a 7’3" French guy in Texas. Now, if that 6 out of 11 chance for the Wizards getting the Number 1 pick in the draft at one point during the lottery did turn out to be, it would be a completely different story. And honestly, we probably would’ve won 2 or 3 more games by now 😅

He’s on the up and up this year, though. He’s looked better than Poole imo, and tremendously improved his 3 point shot (at least so far) compared to a horrifically bad performance last season. Like, he’s a genuine threat from 3pt range, which can set up the stage for more drives to the rim.
But he gets like no attention regardless of how electric he is :(
Might be a hot take, but I don’t think Tyus has been terrible. What he needs to prioritize is drawing contact and getting to the god damn foul line. I mean, dude’s shot a whopping 3 free throws in 11 games. He needs to get some shots in from the charity stripe a few times a game. It’ll make him more a threat to go downhill and could in turn lead to more spacing on threes.
Fucking awful. I mean, yes, we embrace the tank, but god damn, I would’ve thought we’d win one or two more games. And that’d be all fine and dandy if we weren’t playing with full effort, but most of our guys (excluding Jordan Poole LOL) are showing some damn good heart, yet we’re still just so bad 😂
