- Hawks get MPJ
- Nuggets get Hunter and Bogi
- Fillers of some kind to make it work
Trae gets his great friend, extremely good shooter and improved defender who works best when someone is creating for him and Hawks have that with Trae/DJM.
Nuggets get Bogi to pair up with his countryman and add reliable punch of the bench. Hunter is defensive version of MPJ with less potential. Both would be part of their playoff rotation.
Would you do it or MPJ’s contact is not something you’d like/Bogi is too important? Hunter I’ve always felt was overrated and with great play of JJ is becoming obsolete.
i’d rather hold out until that young man in milwaukee becomes available. my friend told me they are off to a rough start and wanting to shake things up.
i haven’t seen him play since he hurt his knee in atlanta, but again my friend told me he’s all better and even won a championship since then.
Btwi don’t wish for MPJ to be traded, he earned his during Nuggets championship run. Same goes for Bogi, he’s my fav for a long long time.
Just wondering in case GM’s eventually decide to go that road, would like to do it right by both MPJ & Bogi.
Eh not really …
-
offense isn’t the problem at all so we really don’t need anymore shooting
-
although mpj defense has definitely improved its no better than hunters and we literally cannot afford to get any worse on that side of the ball (Im not the biggest fan but I’ll only move hunter if it’s for a better defender or a star package )
-
Yeah that contract is a monster
-
Bogi must retire a hawk or I won’t die happy
Completely understandable, especially the Bogi part. ❤️
Will be difficult to move Hunter for star player without including lots of picks. JJ is a revelation, love that you’re finally having him to put high hopes on instead of Reddish and Hunter.
I love JJ man… it’s insane how he’s almost (if not already) better than hunter/cam ever was … I’m glad we finally have a wing that can be a star … he’s just as untouchable as Trae honestly
Absolutely, man for a moment looks like some weird mix of Giannis and a…jumper. He constantly surprises me when watching Hawks. Great building block, can do a lot of things already.
Other than the bogi part I don’t see why you wouldn’t want MPJ. He gets 17 and 8 in his sleep in Denver not even being prioritized as a scorer. Playing with Trae he’d average 20 a game easy while giving us better rebounding, and more hustle as well
I love watching Denver so I can tell you right now MPJ is all star caliber
We just scored 300 points in back to back games but also gave up 302 points … offense is the LEAST of our problems… he’s a great offensive talent no doubt but we simply don’t need more offense …if it happened I wouldn’t hate it … just don’t think it moves needles like a elite defender would … mpj we’d be in the same bout

Those 8rebs from the SF position would be massive for us
