So I recently got a new laptop and when I bought it it said that the SSD is 1TB. Now I open my file explorer and the disk space is only 199? What I’m more confused about is that Task Manager says that the capacity of my SSD is 954 and right under it says “Formatted : 201”.I know it may seem like a stupid question but am I not understanding something or did I get scammed?

Sounds like you have a 1TB SSD,. that’s only been partitioned as a 200gb drive (and the remaining 800gb is “unallocated space”)
