As a solo player I honestly don’t mind facing duos, but I wish I didn’t have to manually check this every game on a 3rd party site like porofessor. This has become a golden rule for me, so I don’t get surprised by unexpected / weird attention from enemy support or jungle.

They admit that it’s a slightly unfair advantage an even puts duos into higher mmr lobbies, but at least be transparent and indicate this to everyone in the game.

There should be an icon on someone’s loading screen portrait if they have above a certain % of ranked games played as duoQ. It would let everyone know that they are a social player =)

Riot prefers that people have as little information as possible going into a match. We can’t even see the other players’ pings or load times - we can’t even see our own load time, just a total. (It doesn’t even do that well, shooting up to 90% and then crawling to 100% because it’s tracking the total, instead of tracking the slowest player’s loading process.) For information like player experience and communication (ranks, levels, duos, recent W/L, etc.), that would have to wait until a game had actually started, because I think we both know what would happen if you could see that stuff while there was still time to dodge.

The truth is that the people that code the matchmaker are paycheck thieves that have quiet quit.
