I think if Swift stays healthy down the stretch and only commands a few million per year, there’s a chance Howie signs him because they clearly like what he can be in this offense and he’s been having a pretty good year.

Even if we do keep Swift, I think drafting Blake Corum from Michigan, hopefully in the 3rd round, would be a perfect fit. A phenomenal short yardage back (who definitely has some quickness of his own) to pair with Swift’s shiftiness and take some of the load off our franchise QB in any short yardage situation that isn’t a Brotherly Shove opportunity. I think Swift and Corum would be a damn good duo for several years while our SB window is wide open

Who do you think would be a good fit? I think even we keep Swift that Howie will draft a RB or sign a vet

Not happening, Jalen’s extension officially kicks in next season and guys like Devonta Smith, Landon Dickerson, Haasan Reddick are due for new contracts and AJ will also want to a new deal with the numbers he’s putting up this season, you can’t feed everyone.

Jalen’s cap hit is relatively nothing major until about 2027…. They purposely structured it that way to keep our great players while the SB window is open
