Just did a bar crawl with chase young’s cousin. Chatted him up for a bit and in short he said the family was sad to see him leave DC (I guess most are local) but they (me as well) were so happy for him for being able to leave this “poverty ass” franchise where “careers go to die”. So happy for chase and couldn’t agree more with what his cousin said but hoping so much that this will change in the next five years

There are two kinds of sports fans: fans who think athletes are regular people with unique jobs, and fans that think athletes are one-dimensional characters on TV.

This post has attracted the latter.

Chase and Montez lucked out hard for being mediocre players. One to a Super Bowl contender, one paid top 5 money.

Well they are completely wrong. Players in the past came here to get paid. Hopefully, that time has ended.

1.5 sacks his first two games with the Niners, then completely off the stat sheet Thursday night. That tracks.

I played OL… but I don’t understand how a DE is not on the stat sheet… not even a tackle. Unless he played very few snaps I just don’t understand unless Seattle passed like crazy… you telling me some 40 yr old who got hurt strapped chase? Or does Seattle have a good LT?

Good chance he comes back this off-season I think, if they win the Super Bowl
