It’s a new 2bay desktop TS-264. QNAP’s recommended operating temp is 0-40°C (32-104°F).
Am I taking a risk running close to 40°C; it could get that high if furnace runs for a long time. Are the temp swings a problem (it’s generally cooler than the rest of the house down there when furnace is off).
Any advice, tips, experiences please?

My home server is located in our boiler room which sees similar temps. No problems, and the drive temps aren’t too bad.
