Odds have us as the favorites at -1.5, but are we actually the better team? We should dominate against their offense, but their defense will probably overwhelm us a fair bit. I still think we have a great chance of victory, but am I just being too optimistic? What say you guys?
14-13 Broncos win after another game winning drive from Wilson in the 2 minute drill
They won 13-10 against a Steelers team that I think is not really that good. They have a good defense but with a backup QB with a lot to prove still I like our chances.
Obviously we have a lot of similar questions but that just makes me think it’s a toss up
They also beat the Ravens who are a top 2 team in the AFC
I hope we get the Wilson of our first 3 games. He put up like 21 points in the first half each of those games. If we can score early, we can hold the Browns to 0 points the rest of the game.
Browns by 4
Honestly, if i was betting money on it i’d pick the browns to win. Our offense struggled to find the endzone against an above-average vikings defense, and the browns defense is elite. Russ already takes a lot of sacks, so Garret will have himself a field day. Running and screens wont works as well against a stacked defensive front. Our run defense sucks, so DTR wont be throwing as much limiting the opportunities for the rookie to make mistakes.
HOWEVER, a rookie qb is prime turnover territory, and i dont see either team scoring many points. We always seem to find a way to squeak out those ugly, lowscoring matchups, so it’s really anyone’s game
Go broncos!!!
You always have to figure oddsmakers give 3 points for home field so on neutral turf, they put us at +2.5.
I don’t think Denver is going to keep winning games if they have to rely on their defense to turn it over 4 times. The offense must be better, especially in the redzone. Russ needs to get the ball out quicker and stop checking down so much.
The only thing that scares me if their running game. They have like the third best running offense. If we can shut down their run we win
Don’t listen to the homers in here, this is going to be the toughest game we’ve had since the Dolphins knocked the stupid out of our staff.
The browns have an incredible defensive line, and good running backs.
The game is going to entirely settle on whether or not we can stop the run game, turnovers (luckily their quarterback is great at generating those if they’re forced to pass) and how honest we can keep them with our run game.
If we win two out of those three things, we likely squeak away with something like a 13-10 win.
If we fail it’s going to be something ugly like a 24-6 loss.
