He probably get mad because when he bought Minecraft on the Nintendo switch he thought he was getting a java edition on the switch, but then he find out that you can only get java on the PC, and that bedrock edition is the Minecraft on the Nintendo switch. He get so mad that he want me to emulate java in switch which I Don’t know how to.
Bedrock is a lot better than people give it credit for honestly… sure, Java can be modded, but bedrock runs considerably better on low power devices.
Mind you, if you’re connecting to a server, you’re offloading a lot of the stress anyways, but still.
Making minecraft available cross platform and for pretty much everybody (we all got a phone) is not the worst mistake mojang has made, quite the contrary. Yall gotta stop acting like its not a godsend for us casual players who really dont give a shit if javas better if it means that I can play with my friends whenever and wherever super easily. As much as yall like to pretend rminecraft represents the greater community, it doesnt at all.
Idk why but I always feel like people hate on bedrock too much. Yes it has problems, but it’s just personality.
The bedrock version is Microsoft’s bastard. Tell him to not blame Mojang. Oh no… your lil bro got double fucked… What version is that switch, is it 2017? If so, you may be able to do the whole paper clip trick to jailbreak the thing.
Java is lame. I have both versions and honestly java is kinda whack. Flight drift is a big issue
I mostly play Java, but before I had a good pc I played Bedrock on the Xbox exclusively. Honestly, I like both a lot and unless I’m doing something very specific I can’t tell the difference.
Its not that bad
I suspect that the development of minecraft is slowed down considerably by trying to make it work cross platform. It’s one thing to focus on Java updates but also bedrock and making sure it works on mobile and different devices and hardware. Every time you make a change or addition you have to make sure it won’t break on these various platforms. I’m a bit wary of Bedrock as concerned that Microsoft is going to push towards a closed system where you have to pay for every mod/equivalent via their store The Sims style.
Well I can bone meal sugar cane and flowers. Think about it. And the gold farm well yeah…
I have been playing on bedrock for 7 years and really don’t have any problems.
The worst thing Minecraft did in my eyes was the mob vote. And not adding more fantasy mobs in the game.
And the only reason people live java is because they are not as deadly as in bedrock.
This post is honestly the perfect example of people hating bedrock for no good reason.
Honestly he may have a point about the mob vote thing being screwed up by needing 2 dev teams.
I think your lil bro is a dumb kid.
