I suspect that the development of minecraft is slowed down considerably by trying to make it work cross platform. It’s one thing to focus on Java updates but also bedrock and making sure it works on mobile and different devices and hardware. Every time you make a change or addition you have to make sure it won’t break on these various platforms. I’m a bit wary of Bedrock as concerned that Microsoft is going to push towards a closed system where you have to pay for every mod/equivalent via their store The Sims style.

They exist but incredibly unreliable and kinda ugly.

I’m less bothered by the fuel cost as the total lack of control over them. They seriously need a rework.

Railcraft is one of my faves though not that common on servers as apparently can be problematic (technical).

Microsoft owns the game, you’re merely renting the server. They’ve been cracking down on language used in chat, to the irritation of the community.

People will always find a way out automate the challenge out of it. Not really the fault of the devs but an inevitability with a sandbox game.

Yeah I get bored because there’s no challenge to it.

There’s a sense of achievement I don’t really get in real life. I found these resources and made this. I cleared out this (woodland) mansion of hazards. I found this End portal. I made this design. I made these machines and set up this system to create x.
