Gametime is 6 PM
Not a doctor but if Jalen could back in 6 to 8 weeks that would be a good outcome. It was a dumb contest by Kuzma but he pinned Jalen’s right wrist: the left wrist (the injured one) was hurt when breaking it fall. It wasn’t a dirty play. Anyways, here’s to hoping his wrist wasn’t broken, just sprained or something. I could be way overestimating things. We can only guess for now
Mustering the energy to watch this team with JJ will be hard, as we need him to fufill our full potential, but we’ll all be ok. Trae played a perfect game yesterday, his 3 is back, the floater still a work in progress.
The game tonight will be an uphill battle at best, but don’t count the team out.
Injuries and people are different and there are multiple bones in the wrist but here are some recent time lines for return from wrist injuries in the NBA. It seems like all the wrist fractures required surgery.
Giannis missed 8 days with a sprained wrist
Lemelo returned from a wrist fracture a little under 4 weeks after surgery
Alex Caruso returned 7 weeks after fracturing his wrist
Naz Reid was anticipated to miss 6 weeks but the Wolves season ended first
Here’s my optimistic prediction:
Jalen has a sprained wrist and a bruised forearm. The bruised forearm is from his contact with the board and his sprained wrist was from when he braced his fall. The bruised forearm gave him more immediate pain, which is why shot 1 handed.
Giannis is nuts only 8 days
