Now before I get to my question a couple of quick things:
Firstly since joining the starting line-up Buddy is averaging 24ppg on 70/67/100 shooting splits which we know is unsustainable, but is an indication of how good the chemistry he has with Haliburton is.
Secondly the salary cap next year is projected to be $142mil, with a tax line of $172mil and we are projected to be paying $130.5mil in salary. (This is assuming we keep TJ 9.3mil, accept Brown’s 23mil, Smith declines his option + we have Toppin’s cap hold 7mil).
Now, with all that information out there, what would you be comfortable paying Buddy Hield in the way of an extension?
yup. not even gonna question it. give buddy a bag
