I have been a lifelong Green Bay fan and a Chiefs fan for the last 20 years. I watched GB give all their money to Rogers and then have nothing left for receivers or anything else. My fear was that KC and Mahomes would make the same mistake. It’s a shame these young quarterbacks want to be the “highest-paid QB in the league.” Instead of the QB with the most rings. Do they want to be rich or win multiple Super Bowls? Their prime is finite and having such an amazing Defense is finite.
I think it’s really, really easy when not in someone’s shoes to say “You should pursue this over getting paid as much as you can.” all the while hoping and working in our own professions to get paid as much as we can.
People always have ideas of what to do in other’s business or their money.
It’s just so hypocritical.
