Embiid is playing tonight. Do you guys already forgot how Embiid functions? Unless he has some major injury, he is going to do some drill during pregame shoot around and then will say he is good to go.

He did that several time last year

Morey masterclass getting Oubre on the minimum. Put some respect on his name

He has made our team construction better in each year that he’s been here.

Oubre falling to us is blind luck due to miscommunication with his agent, who Oubre just fired. Him signing for the minimum is not an indication we valued him.

Morey’s paid more for worse guys, PJ was paid more than Bruce Brown and Kyle Anderson. House took 5m to not play, our big trade deadline get in 2021 was three seconds for George Hill, we gave Thybulle and an early second for McDaniels who sucked.

Like Morey’s decent, we don’t have to circlejerk everything like he’s Jesus. He’s been pretty ass on the margins but overall solid on the bigger trades.

Convinient of you to omit the fact we GAINED two 2nds in that trade. Another example of blind uninformed hatred. And Harden wasn’t gunna take a paycut for Bruce Brown, and we didn’t need Bruce Brown, we needed a forward.

Kinda funny that all 3 of our former bench players are having horrendous starts to the season.

May be in the minority but don’t want Harden coming back. Maxey developing into an all star is only chance Sixers have in terms of winning a championship. If he does and you have him, Jo, and hopefully another really good player this offseason, you have a shot. Harden doesn’t give you a shot and I still think he will try to pull his typical crap and do his best to force a trade and torpedo this season.

Wish we could somehow find that perfect backcourt partner for Maxey this year but don’t see it out there. Lavine seems risky health wise given his contract and is poor defensively. Herro would be similar - poor defense.

I think that management should test the market with him. If they are going to get a can of coke for him, he can stay. If they can get a good haul, I would trade him. He is probably worth somewhere in between a can of coke and a good haul.

I know many here are sour on Hatden and don’t want him back. But assuming he is going to be committed for few games until he got traded, having Harden is very beneficial for the team.

Obviously, Harden that plays basketball is more valuable than Harden that doesn’t play basketball. And with Harden, Maxey doesn’t need to play 40 minutes every game. And Harden’s presence is going to be beneficial for players like Melton, Pat Ben, Springer….etc.

My ideal scenario is Harden buy in for few games. We than trade him and Melton for assets that we can use later. I like Melton, but somebody is going to overpaid him this off-season. I wan to see Springer start taking his minutes

I think management should look to trade Harden but only if the return is good. Who is in the market for an aging disgruntled player. I would like to see what the offers would be?

Funniest shit yesterday,I was in the Arena all nevous because Embiid wasnt warming up. Came out of the dressing room with 40 seconds left before tip off, took exactly 2 warm up shots(2 three pointers) and then had like 15 points in the first quarter lol

Raptors fans were booing him every possession but then he’d score pretty much all the time and after every basket they were like damn hes too good

After a huge block on Barnes in the 4th a large section of thecrowd screamed holy f*k

I think the biggest takeaway is that this team is still good enough to roll off reg season wins, and it’s not like our previous team made it far in the playoffs either way.

Rooting against the clippers every game, hopefully the pressure gets to the FO if they start slow. There’s a chance we could get like 2 firsts + Mann + expirings, which is probably our best case scenario for a return.

Maxey is that guy. Clear some cap space, have 3 firsts to trade and could be our all in shot for good

seeing maxey and embiid do so well makes the doomer in me (irrationally) want us to be going all in this year, but there’s really no way we could do that. who knows how long we have until things stop clicking correctly

Moreys plan is coming together. They know Maxey can be a 2A/2B on a championship team. 2024 is the perfect offseason, and only offseason we will have the opportunity to make one last big swing.

Maxeys incredibly small cap hold in combination with everybody coming off the books means we will have a ton of options and flexibility. If Morey is this confident about 2024 he must know players are interested in playing next to Maxey/Embiid under Nurse
