I was at the Clippers game with some friends last night and it was a tough game to stomach. No rhythm, energy or camaraderie. We started talking about the team and how we could be better roster moves aside.
The 3 things we decided we need were more set plays and less iso, develop our young players and bring tons of energy.
All of these are coaching duties. We started asking what Kidd brings to the table and besides the players like him we were coming up short.
What are Kidd’s strengths? We all know his past in coaching. But what does he bring to the table? I mean this seriously and am looking for honest answers.
Thanks #MFFL
yea players liking him could explain why they tend to perform well in the beginning. the culture feels good, players give effort but then when you start to actually encounter hurdles thats when coaching really comes in. getting players to perform when they aren’t having fun. this is why I think he gets overrated as a coach, just because of good starts in his tenures. do I think he needs to get fired? not really but I think he def needs another top notch assistant coach that has more juice than a standard assistant. pretty much a co-head coach. hahah. he can keep the locker room spirits up as much as he can while someone else runs the x’s and o’s
