Not a perfect game by any means (especially missing wide open pickens), but Pickett looked good. You can definitely see how the system (not targeting middle) was holding him back.

I’ll I ask is that the Pickett haters give him more time even when he has bad games.

A decent showing. Not great but I really expected more. Remember he is a number one pick and should be playing at a higher level. They should have him roll out more so he has more time to make decisions On scale of 1-10 I give him 6.5 Next week hopefully 7+, he has to improve on a weekly basis….

I support whoever is the QB and this was a move in the right direction for Kenny.

    Kenny trending up.

    Dionte trending down.

Dominated the team stats now they need to dominate the end zone. Pickett looked much better, Harris ran with conviction, play-calling was diverse and the defense actually got some well needed bench time. Looking ahead the Steelers have a real shot at not just the playoffs but a possible division title. As a fan we can look ahead and speculate but as players and coaches it’s one game at a time. Keep improving and mowing them down. Great first win post Canada fiasco.

Kenny was holding Kenny back but yes Canada did not help.

It seems no one cares to remember the offense was stripped down to low risk mid last season because all Kenny did was throw INTs lol

He looked good on occasion. He looked great on a few throws. But he mostly looked solid. And that’s an improvement from any other game this season. It was a watchable offense, and Kenny was smiling. We have a handful of very winnable games coming up. Let Kenny get his confidence back. This is good stuff.

We got more out of our tight ends today than all passing combined in some games this year. Canada was at least 50 % of the problem

I keep reading people commenting on his accuracy this game and though he had some bad misses, he still finished with a completion percentage of 72% (and that’s with a 8.4 yard/attempt average so it’s not a hollow stat). Doesn’t really get much more accurate than that at this level. Put another way, if he did that every game, he’d be far and away one of the most accurate passers in the league.

EDIT: No lie, other than the lack of TDs, these are pretty elite numbers. What I mean, if he averaged 278 yards for 17 games that’d be good for 4728 yards (which would easily be top 5). Not saying he will (obviously he can’t at this point now), but I’m just putting this performance in perspective.
