My wife says it’s dirty of me to play like that, keeping someone at their spawn. I on the other hand, feel like it’s part of her character design and totally within the moral right to play like that. What are your thoughts?

From my experience the only people who are against this dont know how to deal with a Sombra or just refuse to switch to a hero with a better matchup.

Nothing is dirty about playing a hero the way they are intended, Sombra punishes people who are out of position / alone.

No it is not dirty but if you only kill the same hero over and over you are trading your absence from teamfights against the hero you are killing which might not always be a smart trade.

I’d argue that a support missing from a fight is worse than a dps missing from a fight. Since supports give more value than dps.

Imo Sombra is great at being annoying. Spawn camping is annoying. Ergo, mission accomplished.

However, you have to wonder if you’re maximizing value, or if you’d be better off in the actual fight, annoying people as they try to fend off the rest of your team.

I don’t think it’s the optimal strategy. If it was, I wouldn’t care how dirty it is. Usually it means you’re taking out a Zen a few times before he switches to Moira, and it comes at the price of your team being down a dps during the fight.

i mean, shes invisible… its a shitty thing to even have in the game, but it can work. I pretty much always expect it if enemies have a sombra, so it isn’t too effective on me
