2021 Camry, 45,000 miles. Was told by Toyota it has lifetime fluid, but others online say it should be changed every 50-60k. Should I have it flushed, just change whats in the transmission pan, or leave it be?

I powered flushed my 2002 Tacoma per the Toyotas dealer’s recommendation and it blew up A few weeks later.

Look on line. Leave your transmission fluid alone…

Drain n fill. Don’t flush. There’s no such thing as lifetime.

For all questions related to fluid maintenance, consult your user manual. It will give you the service interval for all fluids, including the transmission.

If it does say “lifetime”, I’d still recommend a simple drain/fill every so many miles. Maybe at 50k miles each time.

Why never flush if anything flush is way better and draining it is way worse

If you flush, you’re putting pressure in a system with very sensitive valves.
