I’ve been keeping my eyes open for a good used car for my teenage daughter, who currently has her learner permit. A local dealer ended up with a 2017 Kia Soul EV w/ 56k miles. It appears to be the top level trim. It’s currently priced just under $12k. From a range perspective (120/92), this car is really perfect for her needs. All her regular destinations are within 10 miles. Is there anything I need to look for when I go for a visit and test drive at the dealer this week? FWIW, I’ve previously owned a 2019 Kona Electric Ultimate and I currently own a 2023 Ioniq 5 Limited RWD. So I’m not new to EVs.
