My girlfriend wants to give her mom a Steamdeck for xmas, but her mom is not very tech savvy. Is it possible for them to share an account so her mom doesn’t have to make her own account?
I’ve read conflicting info about sharing games or having to play in offline mode if they are both logged in at the same time. Anyone have the answer?

I don’t recommend sharing the actual account, but you can share the library to another account. Only one person at a time is able to play any shared game though. There’s no real way around that aside from the library owner playing offline. The best option really is to have her mom buy her own games just to prevent headaches in the future.
