    I don’t have an OLED yet, so I can only report what I’ve seen elsewhere on the sub. Boot to your bios and turn off USB Dual Role Device, change it to xhci, then it should work. From powered off, hold the volume + button when you power on and it should take you to the bios.



  • You can not install games locally from gamepass on the steam deck without first installing windows. You can stream them from your PC or your Xbox if you don’t want to do the cloud gaming. With a good home network you should have no real perceptible lag. The huge benefit to doing it this way is that since you’re not taxing the hardware at all since you’re just using it as a screen and a controller essentially, you can have really awesome battery life. That’s how I’ve been playing Starfield. I have almost 100 hours in streaming it from my laptop to my deck and have zero complaints.

    None of that helps you for away from home though, so you’ll have to weigh your options there.
