I know…I know. It’s too early to be talking about this and everyone is enjoying the win streak (let’s fucking go!) Just figured it’d be fun conversation with us now out of the Caleb/Maye race. Who do you guys think we should be targeting position wise?

I thought we’d need a CB2 but McMillan is turning into a beast, and Moreau is looking pretty good as well.TE wouldn’t be an issue if Dulchich could stay healthy, but that’s an big question mark. I think we need some speed at MLB and someone inside to help our run D. Pass rush has been very spotty, but Bonito and Browning are still young enough to make big steps next year.

So who do you want us to pick up with the 32nd pick?

    Tight End that’s a receiving threat, MLB that can cover, and a NT that can stuff the run so we can move DJ Jones back to DE so we can wreak havoc ala Shelby Harris opposite of Allen. Everything else honestly looks solid!

    At this point we have enough positions that could use additional talent that we should be focused on BPA far more than anything else. CB, Safety, WR, IDL, edge, TE all would make sense to me right now.

    I’m Predicting we pick somewhere in the mid to low 20s. This is not a slight on Russ, but if one of the top QBs fall, say maybe Penix or Mccarthy, I’d still pull the trigger on them. Russ is playing very well right now, yes, but he’s also obviously getting into the latter part of his career and what better opportunity could a young Qb have then to learn from Russ, Payton and Webb for a a few years .

    If one of them does not fall I would say WR and hopefully we can patch up Interior D line in FA.
