Hot take: More games should strive to be great AA games. There have been a lot of those in this great year. Off the top of my head: Robocop, Remnant 2, Lords of The Fallen, Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, Dead Island 2, Lies of P, Wanted: Dead. I don’t need eye bleeding graphics, picture perfect characters and an award winning story, sometimes I just wanna have fun.
Robocop was so hype; but $60 is not AA pricing
What if I told you that you: a game price doesn’t reflect what it costs to make but what the publisher feels it should cost?
Capcom hasn’t started charging $70 yet, but have released a few AAA games this year including Resident Evil 4, SF6 and they released Resident Evil 8 at the same price. Nobody can argue those games aren’t triple A.
It weird seeing a 4M budget when we’re so used to hear about games costing hundreds of millions of dollars.
I picked it up for 26 bucks on epic games store using their 33% off thing. Listing is 40 bucks. Probably the cheapest you’ll be able to pick this game up for a while.
