The Spurs will have the time to actually practice (a rare thing normally during the regular season). Is this an opportunity to further experiment or possibly alter existing experiments? I’m very curious to see how Pop uses this time.

Crunch film and build better habits using that film. Finally some time for more detailed teaching.
Not so much time that we’re going to see a brand new team or anything but enough time where I think some of the more frustrating issues (missing Wemby in space, Wembys chemistry with teammates) will be improved upon.
Although even this may be overstated, I want to say Doc said on Simmons podcast that these three day off periods yield like one practice day because the training staff usually breaks out the list off players who need multiple recovery days.
So maybe leaning heavy into the crunching film part of teaching lol
